Assists the Tour and Travel Conference Manager in the preparation of all groups or events. Provides outstanding, friendly, professional information and assistance to clients and guests. Presents a professional image of Loews Hotels and Universal Orlando ensuring total guest satisfaction and repeat business.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Develops a relationship with clients by reaching out once a contract has been made, and then maintaining contact on a regular basis
- Prepares resumes
- Prints keys and checks group guests in on day of arrival
- Updates billing in Workbook
- Responsible for blocking group rooms prior to arrival
- Provides attention to client, at all times, to ensure total guest satisfaction
- Answers department phone lines
- Makes any changes to rooming lists or reservations for client once the group arrives
- Sells Food & Beverage vouchers and Sonic Cups to client groups
- Attends weekly resume meetings
- Attends pre-conference meetings when required
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards
- May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
- Attends all appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
- Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times
- Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, employees, and management
- Complies with all hotel standards, policies, and rules
- Recycles whenever possible
- Remains current on hotel information and changes
- Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Advanced computer skills;
Opera, Workbook, and Delphi.fdc systems experience preferred. - One year of experience in the hotel industry is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders and guests.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
