What We're Looking For:
An enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Recreation Manager to help lead, train, and develop the recreation team. In this role, you'll drive a culture of service excellence and guest safety while supporting a wide array of engaging recreational experience.
Who You Are:
• A confident and professional leader with hands-on expertise in pool operations, safety and service protocols, and team development
• A strong communicator and motivating leader who can train, and support recreation team members in a fast paced- guest facing environment

• A skilled communicator and presenter who can inspire and coach team members effectively.
• Organized and efficient, capable of managing multiple priorities and maintaining compliance with safety and service standards.

What You Will Do:
• Assist in overseeing daily operations for Recreation, Fitness Center, and Safety Programs-ensuring alignment with brand standards and guest expectations.
• Serve as the acting Recreation Manager in their absence.
• Manage and monitor all pool and recreation activities, including guest programs, and towel service
• Lead training of all recreation team members.
• Foster internal awareness and promotion of recreation offerings to maximize guest engagement and revenue opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality across all recreational areas
• Lead monthly staff meetings and training sessions to reinforce safety protocols and service standards.
• Analyze trends and guest feedback to evolve our recreational offerings and enhance satisfaction.
• Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters
Your Experience Includes:
• Minimum one year of recreation/aquatics supervisory experience
• Must be able to swim and be comfortable in and around water for an entire shift
• Must be able to complete and maintain current Lifeguard certification to include written and practical exams
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must complete monthly in-service training requirements
• Must hold clean motor vehicle driving record upon request
• High School Diploma or Equivalent;
Associate degree in a related field is preferred
• Licensed Lifeguard Instructor certification preferred
