M Club Attendant

This position is based in Orlando, Florida.

The Marriott Orlando Downtown Hotel in Orlando, FL is searching for a M Club Attendant to join our team. Located in the Creative Village in downtown Orlando, the hotel has 297 guest rooms with views of the downtown Orlando skyline. This great full‑service Marriott Hotel has 15 meeting rooms with 15,992 sq. ft. of space, an onsite Starbucks, Shade Bar and Grill, Fitness Center, and Outdoor Pool.

• Ensures that tables are properly set with clean and sparkling tableware.
• Assist Servers, Host/Hostess and Manager in all aspects of the dining experience.
• Seat guests in absence of Host/Hostess.
• Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
• Deliver entrees to table, ensuring placement in front of appropriate guest.
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Fill and refill water glasses when needed.
• Assist servers in clearing tables during service.
• Bus tables ensuring removed dinnerware is stacked safely on side station tray.
• Ensure the proper set up and cleanliness of all side stations in the outlet, including bringing filled trays to the utility.
• Clean debris from tables, floors, chairs and side stations throughout shift, using proper cloths and sanitizer.
• Stock side stations with proper amounts of silverware, glasses, cups, folded napkins, etc.
• Complete end of day side work.
• Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to promote a clean, safe, and secure environment, including:
  • Safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
  • Follow Hazardous Material Management Program.
  • Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE).
  • Use the Lockout/Tag-out system before performing any maintenance work.
  • Use correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.

• Standing during majority of shift.
• Regularly required to lift, reach with hands and arms, use fingers (keyboard etc.) to handle or feel.
• Lifting requirements of up to 20 pounds.
• Use of the telephone (hearing & speaking).
• Working in café/kitchen on tiled flooring; kitchen conditions may be hot; floor may be slippery (appropriate footwear required).
• Direct contact with guests, managers and employees.
