Hotel Laundry Attendant

Overview

Comfort Suites-Near Universal Orlando Resort-5617 Major Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32819. We are currently looking for Laundry Attendant to join our Team! Our Comfort Suites Near Universal Orlando Resort offers 101 cozy guest suites with 25% more space than a traditional hotel room. Our suites are the perfect place to relax and spread out after a busy day on the go. Our convenient location is in the center of it all, giving guests easy access to all the top attractions, including Sea World, Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

A daily complimentary breakfast is offered to all guests. The Comfort Suites is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

Laundry Attendant will be responsible for: maintaining a constant supply of clean linens and towels for the hotel –

• Tends laundering machines to clean articles, such as sheets, towels and other linen.
• Inspects linen to locate stained or torn items. Records counts for discarded linen.
• Folds, stacks and places towels, sheets and other linen in appropriate storage bins.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.

Rate of Pay: $16.50 per hour. This is a morning shift position.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Customer service skills and team player
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Able to stand for 8 hour shift
• Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs loading linen into machines
