Houskeeping Manager

PRM Hotels is looking for a Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team at our award‑winning Holiday Inn Express Orlando East by UCF. The 91‑room property has been featured as a training hotel by the IHG brand, has been #1 on Trip Advisor with 350 hotels in market, and has been recognized with the IHG Torchbearer Award!

As the Housekeeping Manager, you will work with the General Manager and together monitor service standards to ensure that all department services meet brand standards and guest expectations while:

Monitoring the duties performed by the Room Attendants, Laundry Attendant, Houseman, and Public Areas Attendants in keeping guest rooms and public areas of the hotel clean and in serviceable condition to ensure procedures are followed, standards maintained and quality service given in a safe, secure, accident‑free manner.

• Train and monitor housekeepers on their daily responsibilities to ensure safety, security, and housekeeping procedures and standards are understood and followed.
• Inspect all assigned guest rooms including special clean items and equipment with a regimented deep clean schedule.
• Update housekeeping management on the progress and status of each area of responsibility; complete required forms and reports (i.e. room status, discrepancy, late check outs, etc.) (5%).
• Report safety hazards, theft of room items and items requiring repair. (2%).
• Inspect all public areas, including bathrooms, lobby, storerooms and stairwells, for cleanliness. (1%).
• Manage laundry and linen requirements to ensure timeliness and availability to clean guest rooms. (1%).
• Respond and comply with all guest requests, issues and problems to ensure satisfaction. (10%).
• Assist with cleaning of rooms as needed. (10%).
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Must be able to perform the following physical functions, with or without reasonable accommodations:
Bending, stooping, and lifting at least 30 lbs.

The ideal candidate is likely to have 2+ years or more of hotel experience with at least six months in a housekeeping management role.

Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish).

Minimum of high school education or equivalent.
