Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of baking/pastry experience in a high‑volume hotel or freestanding restaurant.
  • Hands‑on proficiency in piping, cake assembly, decoration, chocolate tempering, molded desserts, and basic sugar work.
  • Solid foundation in classical and contemporary pastry techniques including mousses, glazes, laminated doughs, choux, and plated dessert components.
  • Proven ability to manage production timelines while maintaining consistent quality, presentation standards, and food safety practices.
  • English language communication required.
  • Full availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Comprehend BEOs.
  • Prepare all volume food items according to standard recipes and specifications to ensure consistency of product.
  • Check and control proper storage and rotation of product, and monitor portion control to maintain quality.
  • Practice inventory controls, including preparation and pickup of items from the storeroom.
  • Store all food in refrigerated boxes with covers, labels, and dates.
  • Keep walk‑ins and reach‑ins clean, ensuring all equipment in working areas is sanitary and in working condition, in compliance with health department regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
