We are seeking a driven, dynamic, and results-oriented General Manager to oversee all aspects of vacation rental operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and financial performance. This role provides strategic leadership across property management, guest services, revenue management, owner relations, and team development. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with company standards, local regulations, and brand expectations while driving growth, profitability, and service excellence across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the vacation rental and lodging business, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services
- Provide operational leadership for onsite food and beverage offerings, including the restaurant and any bar or catering operations
- Hire, lead, and develop management and staff across lodging and F&B, establishing clear performance standards and accountability
- Own the guest experience across all touchpoints, including service quality, issue resolution, and reputation management
- Manage financial performance, including budgets, cost controls, and revenue optimization for both lodging and F&B
- Implement and enforce operational systems, SOPs, and KPIs to support consistency and future growth
- Partner with leadership and business development teams to support growth initiatives
- Ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards, and vendor performance across all departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive management experience in vacation rentals, hospitality, property management, or lodging operations
- Proven leadership experience managing teams, vendors, and multi-property operations
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and revenue optimization
- In-depth knowledge of vacation rental platforms, PMS systems, pricing tools, and distribution channels (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo)
- Demonstrated experience in guest experience management, service recovery, and reputation management
- Working knowledge of local regulations, licensing, safety, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools
