Job Description:
  • Monitors the use and implementation of physician tools to ensure accurate and complete records.
  • Generates and analyzes data and reports to identify opportunities for documentation improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Delivers training and continuing education to physicians and clinical departments. Uses critical thinking and sound judgment to balance reimbursement considerations with regulatory compliance.
  • Acts as a liaison between CDI leadership, revenue cycle staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication [Required]
  • Strong leadership skills [Required]
  • Strong critical thinking/problem-solving skills [Required]
  • Understand CDI outcomes and operational metrics. [Required]
  • Interpersonal skills that promote teamwork [Required]
Education:
  • Foreign Medical Graduate [Required] OR
  • Advance practice practitioners (APRN or PA) with active Florida license [required]
Work Experience:
  • 5+ years clinical experience [Required]
  • 2+ years in acute care setting [Preferred]
