The Supervisor, Medical Practice has operational supervisory responsibility for an Orlando Health Physician Group Practice site.

- Focuses on daily operations, including personnel supervision, compliance with organizational policies and procedures, facility management, patient scheduling, and business‑related reporting.
- Oversees patient scheduling and ensures improved access for patients to the practice.
- Serves as a resource for the Chief Operations Officer, Director of Operations, and/or Operations Manager.
- Manages operations to provide physician clients with the most efficient and cost‑effective clinical environment.
- Assists in the development, administration, and support of organizational policies and procedures.
- Implements and monitors projects and operational functions as directed by leadership.
- Assists physicians in creating strategies for efficiency and growth of the practice.
- Provides management reports for review, practice planning, marketing, and development.
- Manages personnel functions, including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions.
- Develops systems knowledge, including practice management systems and electronic medical records.
- Demonstrates proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet development, and presentation skills.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal, customer service, and supervisory skills.
- Provides department‑level orientation to new team members, including system software, telephone protocols, office equipment usage, policies and procedures, customer service expectations, job competencies, and coaching plans.
- Maintains regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies and applicable standards.
- Ensures compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
- Educates and supervises staff.
- Provides necessary documentation related to policies and procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality of data and information.
- Functions as a member of the medical office management team.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- None required
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a physician office setting
