Your Impact

As a Client Account Manager (CAM) for the Healthcare Infrastructure Market in the Southeast Region, you will drive growth and strengthen strategic relationships with healthcare clients to position Jacobs as their firm of choice for advisory, design, and program/construction management (PMCM) services. Your work will directly influence the success of hospital, clinic, and medical campus projects across Florida and Georgia, ensuring Jacobs delivers innovative solutions for the built environment.

Location

This position will be based in Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Tallahassee, or nearby locations.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare client accounts, developing strategies to grow Jacobs’ healthcare architecture and infrastructure portfolio.
  • Align healthcare market strategy with Jacobs’ broader East Region Cities & Places growth objectives.
  • Lead client service teams composed of multi-disciplinary project managers and practice leaders around a shared vision of success.
  • Build deep, trusted relationships with client executives and technical leaders to position Jacobs as a strategic partner.
  • Advocate for client needs internally and recommend actions to optimize business development investments and market share growth.
  • Drive pursuit strategies for transformational healthcare projects, including proposal development, interviews, and presentations.
  • Coordinate Jacobs’ sales process, including Go/No‑Go decisions, win strategies, and resource planning.
  • Engage in industry organizations and community outreach to strengthen Jacobs’ brand and expand relationships.
  • Collaborate with healthcare market leaders on strategic hiring, office growth, profitability, and team development.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or planning (or equivalent experience).
  • 15+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, or related disciplines within the healthcare market sector.
  • Demonstrated success in winning and managing healthcare facility design and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong relationships with healthcare clients and teaming partners.
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities, responding to RFPs, and leading pursuit strategies.
  • Skilled communicator and presenter with technical writing experience.
  • Recognized leader in the healthcare architecture and infrastructure marketplace.
Preferred
  • Experience developing “zippered” relationships with clients at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to open doors and lead account teams for major healthcare clients.
  • Technical background in delivering or managing healthcare advisory, design, and PMCM projects.
