Job Description
  • Prepares observation patient reports, self-pay patient reports, and case mix reports monthly for each Hospitalist group across 8 campuses.
  • Reviews lists with Hospitalist group administrators to identify any variances.
  • Resolves variances within set time parameters.
  • Ensures accurate payment of all invoices related to contracted Hospitalist groups, including payments for Hospitalist on-boarding, case rate, medical director timesheets, self-pay patients, observation patients, and quarterly bonus metrics.
  • Follows criteria outlined in each contract for payments.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Professional attitude and conduct, initiative, critical thinking and good judgment skills; ability to make effective recommendations [Required]
  • Effective and professional organization and communication skills (verbal and written) [Required]
  • Flexible to change [Required]
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment [Required]
  • Windows and Microsoft Office skills with ability to effectively use Excel [Required]
Education
  • Associate [Required]
Field Of Study
  • in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Work Experience
  • 1+ of business experience in an acute care setting or a related field [Required]
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) (preferably Cerner) [Preferred]
