Job Summary

The Healthcare System Sales Director is a senior‑level leader responsible for driving the strategic growth and adoption of Micro

GenDX’s NGS diagnostic services across a network of hospital systems. This role will lead partnerships with independent contractor hospital representatives, develop high‑level relationships with hospital executives and department heads, and collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to position Micro

GenDX as a leader in molecular diagnostics.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Partner with independent contractor reps to oversee and grow Micro

    GenDX’s presence within hospital systems.
  • Build relationships with administrators, laboratory leadership, and department heads across Infectious Disease, Pulmonology, Critical Care, Urology, and more.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to expand the use of Micro

    GenDX’s NGS service lines. Coordinate with marketing, sales, and internal departments to support growth initiatives.
  • Lead the execution of new account setup in the CRM and other customer tracking systems.
  • Organize and deliver clinician/customer meetings, in‑servicing, lunch‑and‑learns, and training sessions.
  • Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product development, and clinical affairs to support research initiatives and product positioning.
  • Increase awareness and understanding of Micro

    GenDX’s NGS solutions through ongoing education of hospital staff. Clearly articulate the advantages of NGS over traditional cultures and PCR using clinical studies and sales materials.
  • Represent Micro

    GenDX at industry conferences, seminars, and professional associations to build brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and hospital departments to initiate and support research using Micro

    GenDX’s technology in areas such as Pulmonary Critical Care, Wound Care, Women’s Health, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology and Infectious Disease.
  • Oversee a multi‑state territory with a regional focus while supporting national expansion efforts.
  • Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of working with hospital systems and independent sales contractors.
  • Strong understanding of molecular diagnostics, microbiology, or infectious disease preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territories.
  • Remote preferred location in Florida, Texas, California, Georgia (role is not limited to these states).
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare sales or hospital system management.
