Job Overview

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Certified Medical Assistants in Orlando, Florida.

4‑month contract with possibility of extension or hire offer.

Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

$23.00 – $24.30 per hour.

RCMA, NRCMA.

• Prepare charts prior to clinic sessions, ensuring specialist reports and test results are documented and available for physician review.
• Process appropriate documents in an organized and accurate fashion.
• Room patients according to company standards, update medication lists, and complete screenings as indicated.
• Record patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist the provider during patient visits, including documenting portions of the visit in the electronic medical record while the provider is examining the patient; requires active listening and the ability to accurately capture the provider’s instructions.
• Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies, including scheduling appointments, faxing prescriptions and calling patients after the visit to ensure the patient has been able to access care.
• Utilize Motivational Interview skills to assist patients in setting short‑term health goals and developing self‑management skills.
• Organize exam and treatment rooms, stock and clean rooms and sterilize instruments.

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Must be a nationally certified Medical Assistant – active.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• ICD‑9 and CPT coding preferred.
• CPR certified – or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
