Responsibilities

• Education & Training:
  Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology;
  Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography;
  Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine; or Graduate of an approved MRI technologist program through ARMRIT
• Licensure/Certification:
  Valid certification from ARRT, ARDMS, NMTCB, or ARMRIT;
  Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required

Qualifications

• Essential Functions:
  
  Perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or physiology for interpretation and/or intervention; exercise professional judgment; deliver appropriate care; comply with state and federal regulations; adhere to Orlando Health mission; assess patient condition and age‑specific needs; provide clear instructions; perform patient identification and documentation; position patients and equipment; assess image quality and annotation; apply MRI safety principles; comply with Quality Control standards;
  
  administer contrast with/without power injectors; perform venipuncture and manage IV access for contrast; administer medical aid in adverse reactions; apply standard precautions and PPE; assist in training/student technologists; use corporate Radiology systems; ensure patient and staff safety; maintain attendance and compliance with policies
• Other Related Functions:
  Maintain equipment and work areas; keep supplies stocked; work at any facility as assigned; provide patient transport as needed
