Salary: $28 - $34 per hour
AboutThe Role
Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team full time. In this role, you’ll help residents regain independence, enhance daily function, and achieve their highest level of well‑being through personalized therapy and support.
Key Responsibilities- Comprehensive Assessments & Treatment:
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and the care team to evaluate residents’ needs and implement personalized therapy plans. - Empower Resident Independence:
Guide residents in regaining essential life skills and improving functional abilities. - Hands‑On Therapeutic Support:
Deliver direct therapy sessions to promote recovery from illness, injury, or surgery. - Compliance & Confidentiality:
Adhere to all healthcare regulations while maintaining the highest level of resident confidentiality. - Team
Collaboration:
Work closely with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes and quality care.
- Licensure:
Current and active Florida COTA license (required). - Experience:
Previous experience in a long‑term care or rehabilitation setting preferred, but not required.
