Schedule: Part-time

Provides quality patient care while performing diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention, adhering to radiation safety principles.

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to demonstrate anatomy/physiology for interpretation or intervention.
• Exercise professional judgment and maintain a demeanor complimentary to quality care.
• Deliver appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Comply with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
• Assess patient’s physical condition and age-specific needs.
• Provide instructions to achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation.
• Position patient and equipment for high-quality imaging results.
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
• Administer contrast medication and respond to adverse reactions or emergencies.
• Maintain compliance with Orlando Health policies and education requirements.
• Assist in training new technologists and supervising students.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
• Provide patient transport as needed.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

• Valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
• Valid ARRT certification.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

• None required (entry-level friendly).
