Job Description- Completes nutrition-focused physical assessments, takes measurements, reviews medical records, collects data via interviews, and evaluates anthropometric status.
- Evaluates assessment data to identify nutrition risks, nutrition problems, criteria consistent with malnutrition, knowledge deficits, and high‑risk health behaviors. Offers nutrition interventions, orders, education, counseling, and referrals to other services.
- May place feeding tubes or perform indirect calorimetry studies. Provides counseling and education using evidence-based techniques that reflect appropriate health literacy and cultural sensitivity to patients with disease processes requiring nutritional management.
- Monitors and evaluates nutrition care plans to reach nutrition goals and promote optimal outcomes.
- Supervises practice experience for dietetic interns, dietetic technicians, registration‑eligible dietitians and new employees, participates in research, performance improvement, and initiatives.
Bachelor's (Required), Master's (Required). Certified Dietitian (CD) – Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Dietitian (LD) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body.
Pay Range$23.71 - $44.09
