Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. You’ll play a key role in helping patients achieve their highest level of function and independence while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver physical therapy treatments according to professional standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and counsel patients/families
  • Maintain compliance with Orlando Health policies and regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality assessment, program development, and safety initiatives
  • Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Associate degree or graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Licensure:
    Current Florida PTA license
  • Certification:
    Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
  • Experience:

    No prior experience required
