Physical Therapist provides evaluation, administration and direction of therapies utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring practitioner to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part. The Physical Therapist helps patients reach maximum performance levels and plans therapy involving therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training including bed mobility, transfer, and gait training.

Utilizes various mechanical and electrical equipment, manual therapy, and prosthetic and orthotic devices. Evaluates, records and reports on patient progress. Establishes goals of physical therapy and re-assesses patient’s progress at regular, timely intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation.

• Evaluate, administer and direct therapies utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring practitioner to restore function and prevent disability.
• Plan therapy involving therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training (including bed mobility, transfer, and gait training).
• Utilize mechanical and electrical equipment, manual therapy, and prosthetic and orthotic devices as part of treatment.
• Evaluate, record and report on patient progress and adjust therapy as needed.
• Establish goals of physical therapy and reassess patient progress at regular, timely intervals with documentation to support findings.

• Education
  :
  Bachelor s Degree in Physical Therapy
• License/Registration
  :
  License/Registration issued by Florida or Compact State
• Certification
  :
  Basic Life Support (BLS) American Red Cross or American Heart Association

• One (1) year hospital clinical experience
