This Controller role is ideal for a strong accounting leader who thrives in structured environments and understands how to balance corporate reporting requirements with operational partnership.
Key Responsibilities of the Controller- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end/quarter-end close
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and corporate reporting requirements
- Lead the preparation and review of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls in alignment with public company standards
- Partner with operational leadership to provide financial insights, cost analysis, and performance reporting
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with finance leadership
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership
- Experience with in a publicly traded or Fortune 500 environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
- Proven ability to manage teams and partner cross-functionally with operations
- Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency
