Tax Senior Manager

Purvis Gray is seeking a Tax Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead tax engagements for privately held companies, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals. You’ll provide both compliance and consulting services across a range of industries while mentoring staff and deepening client relationships. • Lead multiple tax engagements from planning to delivery
• Provide consulting and compliance services to privately held businesses and individuals
• Supervise and mentor staff in a team-oriented environment
• Perform technical tax research and develop strategic recommendations
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for clients
• Manage client relationships and deliver a high level of service
• Oversee engagement economics including budgeting, billing, and collections
• Review tax forms for individuals (Form 1040 and 1041), Exempt Orgs (Form 990) partnerships (Form 1065), and corporations (Form 1120 and 1120‑S)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s in Tax or JD/LLM is a plus)
• Active CPA license
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or a corporate/public blend
• Advanced knowledge of flow-through and pass-through taxation
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication, client service, and analytical abilities
