Commercial Lender

Overview

An established financial institution has an immediate opening for an experienced Commercial Lender to support growth in the Orlando market. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven lender who thrives in a community-focused banking environment and can independently originate, structure, and manage commercial loan relationships. The successful candidate will bring strong market knowledge, disciplined credit judgment, and the ability to build long-term client relationships within the local business community.

• Originate, structure, and manage commercial loan relationships in the Orlando market
• Develop new business through networking, community involvement, and professional referrals
• Build and maintain a high-quality commercial loan portfolio
• Analyze borrower financials and structure appropriate credit solutions
• Prepare loan presentations and partner with credit and underwriting teams through approval
• Maintain strong relationships with business owners, CPAs, attorneys, and other COIs
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Represent the institution professionally within the local business and cultural community

• Proven experience as a Commercial Lender in a banking environment
• Strong knowledge of and established relationships within the Brazilian market and community
• Background at a small to mid-sized financial institution, or interest in a platform with reasonable accountability and attainable expectations
• Comfortable operating within defined lending limits per transaction
• Highly professional with strong relationship-building and business development skills
• Demonstrated commitment, integrity, and strong work ethic
• Ability to independently grow and manage a commercial loan portfolio
