Regional Student Accounts Officer

Manages payments, cash flow, and follows up with in‑school and out‑of‑school accounts past due on a continuous basis. Provides effective financial counseling and advice to prospective and current students. Prepares collections and financial reports, and performs student ledger card adjustments and scholarship postings.

• Receives and posts all student payments
• Track all student payment plans to ensure timely payment
• Follow up on TO collection efforts
• Daily collection reporting
• Monitor collections agency income
• Handles all in and out of school collections including referrals to collection agency
• Posts refunds/credit adjustments
• Prepares monthly billings and monitors A/R
• Process all invoices thru eRequester (as backup)
• Prepares all cash payer installment notes
• Handles all credit card transactions
• Attend At Risk meeting to cover students on SA Hold
• Provide weekly feedback/reporting of the department’s status to the Executive Director
• Make adjustments to student ledgers due to a change in enrollment status
• Work closely with Tuition Options to ensure monthly goals are met
• Introductory welcome calls monthly

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least two years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (written, read, and verbal)
• Ability to work extended hours (including evenings and weekends) to meet business objectives
• Working on‑site at our Kissimmee Campus. No remote.
