We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join our Business Services team in the Palm Beach market. The Commercial Loan Officer proactively develops, maintains and serves a commercial loan portfolio in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. Calls on operating companies up to $50 million. Coordinates and recommends commercial loans within specified limits. The successful candidate will build business relationships by selling appropriate loan and deposit products and services.

• Originate established goals in new business loan relationships each year in support of the overall success and growth of the department.
• Portfolio management; maintains and develops customer relationships, new business, and periodic review of existing loan arrangements.
• Manage or establish up 50-60 credit relationships while expanding the portfolio.
• Negotiates proper loan structures, selling the Credit Union's credit and non-credit products.
• Responsible for all phases of the sales life cycle, including lead generation and sourcing, relevant systems, loan policies and structure, product knowledge, and financial analysis.
• Serves as a leader and an information resource for loan interviewers, credit analysts, documentation specialist, branch crew members, and support departments.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 8 years' experience as a commercial lender is required including but not limited to Commercial and Industrial lending (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate lending (CRE), with strong commercial credit and analytical skills and extensive knowledge of bank services
• Minimum of three (3) years of business underwriting experience preferred
• Knowledge of SBA guidelines, processes, and regulations governing servicing actions preferred
