Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Audit Associate Orlando, FL.
SummaryAs a Senior Audit Associate, you will take on a leadership role within our audit practice, providing expert guidance on financial and regulatory matters. You will collaborate with audit engagements, supervise junior team members, and work closely with clients to ensure compliance with accounting standards, identify areas for process improvement, and maintain transparent and accurate financial reports.
Responsibilities Audit Leadership- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring high‑quality and adherence to deadlines
- Review complex financial statements and audit documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business activities and provide strategic advice on financial and regulatory compliance
- Effectively communicate complex financial concepts and audit findings to clients, fostering strong client relationships
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement in financial reporting and internal controls
- Work with clients to implement effective and efficient financial processes, driving operational excellence
- Conduct comprehensive research on emerging financial and regulatory issues, providing insightful recommendations to clients and engagements teams
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in auditing and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 4 years of progressive experience in auditing within a public accounting firm
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Proven track record of delivering high‑quality client service in a dynamic environment
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deliver high‑quality client service in a fast‑paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
