This Tax Supervisor role will be based out of one of our offices in Nashville, TN;
New York, NY;
Orlando, FL; or Whippany, NJ. You’ll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned CPAs and industry leaders. In this position, you will take a lead role on all aspects of audit engagements, from planning to completion, including supervision/mentoring of staff and building/maintaining relationships with clients.

• Preparing complex multistate S corp. and partnership income tax returns
• Preparing high net worth individual returns
• Reviewing mid-level multistate complexity S corp. and partnership income tax returns
• Reviewing mid-level complexity individual returns
• Researching and drafting memorandum involving complex tax matters
• Identifying tax planning opportunities
• Handling and resolving tax controversies
• Training and supervision of staff accountants

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Licensed CPA, or working toward CPA certification with parts passed
• Masters of Science in Taxation is preferred but not required
• At least 4 years of public accounting experience
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client’s management
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, strong attention to detail, and proven innovative problem‑solving skills
• Ability to travel as needed

The compensation for this position will vary by location. If you reside in New Jersey or New York City, please see below. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications.

Whippany, NJ: $85,000 - $125,000
