We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Contract Accountant to join our Finance team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to be part of a leading financial institution, where you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial property management, monthly account reconciliation, and depreciation schedules. This is a contract position, offering the chance to work with a diverse and accomplished team, and make a significant impact on our financial operations.

• Manage and oversee all aspects of our commercial property portfolio's financial activities, including rent collection, lease agreements, and property expenses.
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare, review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents and procedures.
• Create, maintain, and manage depreciation schedules for all company assets.
• Collaborate with financial team members to analyze financial status and identify areas for potential improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
• Ensure compliance with all internal processes and relevant regulations and laws.
• Conduct document and system controls and audits to ensure accuracy and quality of data.
• Foster trust relationships with suppliers, clients, and colleagues.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the Finance industry.
• Demonstrated experience with commercial property management, monthly account reconciliation, and depreciation schedules.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• CPA certification is a plus.
