Investment Analyst

Trivergent Trust Company provides investment management, trustee, and family office services to select high net worth families, trusts and related entities. We are currently seeking an entry level candidate with the following experience and skills to serve as an Investment Analyst. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and quantitative skills and demonstrate the ability to think critically.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, analytics, economics, statistics, or general business administration
• Prefer 2+ years of experience in investments or strong technical background in finance, or successful completion of a student advised investment fund curriculum at an accredited university
• Additional professional designations and/or general business experience a plus
• General knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data
• Experience with investment-related software (e.g. Morningstar, eVestment, Bloomberg) would be beneficial

• Application of critical financial reasoning to assess the suitability of investments for inclusion or retention in client portfolios
• Ability to condense complex issues into succinct executive summaries and/or recommendations
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with an emphasis on use of Excel functions for data analysis and modeling, and Power Point for customized client presentations

• Generate, summarize, and present accurate and insightful performance analysis for use by the investment management team, wealth advisors, and external clients
• Conduct investment research and analysis on separate account managers (SMAs), mutual funds and alternative products
• Prepare and present manager due diligence reports for internal committee review
• Support investment management team by completing tasks which include generating client presentations and participating in client service initiatives
• Provide support to the operational and compliance areas of the business, including regulatory account reviews, trade settlements and audit documentation
