Responsible for the operation and execution of entertainment shows via Show Control. Use of Advanced Control Systems for Lighting, Audio, Video, Lasers and Special Effects.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:- Responsible for the operation of the Technical Booth within the assigned venue or event including but not limited to the operation of lighting and audio in a live show situation using systems such as Medialon, Ovation, Alcorn McBride and others.
- Responsible for the appropriate installation and maintenance of lighting, audio, video, ground rigging, staging set up.
- Accountable for assisting in maintaining shows or event specific inventory of all Technical equipment & supplies.
- Accountable to strictly adhere to all policies and procedures, as defined by the Entertainment Department, governing the safe operation of all technical equipment.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Operation of the Technical Booth within the assigned venue or event including but not limited to the operation of lighting and audio in a live show situation using systems such as Medialon, Ovation, Alcorn McBride and others.
EDUCATION:- High school degree or GED: is required.
- Technical school: is preferred.
- Proven ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- 1-3 years experience using advanced control systems, likely within the theme park/theater industry in a technical capacity preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience on advanced show control systems such as Medialon, Ovation, Alcorn McBride, Birket and Allen Bradley preferred.
- Emergency Repairs, Parts Assembly, and networking preferred.
