The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring part-time Operations Crew Members to join our team at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. As an Operations Crew Member, you will provide excellent guest service and help to bring the epic story of the U.S. space program to life.

$16.23 – $16.23 / hour

• Welcoming guests into the park, assisting at attractions, theaters and loading tour buses.
• Comply with all property and departmental standards as they pertain to safety and security.
• You may be regularly required to drive yourself to a remote work location where public transportation is not available, and you will be asked to show NASA credentials for entry.
• Drive a company vehicle as needed.
• After 6 months of start date you are eligible to transfer to food and beverage and retail departments.
• Perform similar duties as directed.

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Must be able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays and to work on-call by being scheduled within 24hrs.
• Must be able to pass a Delaware North and NASA background check and receive a NASA .
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to drive yourself to and from work.

• Able to stand for long periods of time including walking, bending, twisting, lifting, reaching, and stretching.
• Be able to work in both hot and cold environments.
• Able to lift 20 lbs and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Includes indoor and outdoor work environments.
