WHO ARE YOU? Do you enjoy dance music? Do you excel at theatrical entertainment? We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who embodies a passion for dance culture and the dance music space.
WHO ARE WE? Insomniac produces innovative, immersive music festivals and events with state-of-the-art lighting, pyrotechnics, sound design, large-scale art installations, theatrical performers and next-generation special effects. Our priority is delivering a top-quality Headliner experience. Insomniac produces 10,000 concerts, club nights and festivals for seven million attendees annually in 13 countries across five continents. The company’s premiere event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, attracts more than 525,000 fans over three days.
THE ROLE
Entertainment Cast Members at Insomniac create unforgettable memories for our headliners, including character performers, stilters, dancers, aerialists, puppeteers, fur characters, circus arts and specialty acts.
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with headliners
- Embody and stay in full character during performances
- Maintain a high level of energy and crowd engagement
- Pose for photo ops with headliners while upholding the Insomniac image
- Foster a team-oriented environment and interact courteously with headliners and staff
- Work effectively under high pressure and tight timelines
- Wear designated footwear, headdresses and other costume elements for extended periods
- Demonstrate stamina and endurance
- Navigate and perform throughout large crowds
- Complete assigned duties and rotations of event checkpoints
- Participants do not need formal qualifications; preferred background in dance, theater or general entertainment
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Theatrical acting and dancing capabilities required
- Proficient talent in chosen performance area
- Energy, enthusiasm and people skills
- Adaptable performance style to suit costuming or audience
- Able to accept direction and coaching with flexibility
- Physically able to walk and stand for extended periods in festival conditions
- Must tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments
- May work in drastic temperature climates
- Willing to work during evenings and weekends; travel to events as required

Salary:
Hiring range $16.50-$32.00 per hour. This reflects California Salary Transparency requirements and may vary by location and other factors.
