Position: Design Engineer with Security Clearance
**** This role is a Monday-Thursday schedule, 10 hours per day. No Friday work. It is hybrid, it will either be 3 days onsite 1 remote, or 2 days onsite 2 remote. Orlando, FL is the work location

* Job Description:

Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as, CAD, CAM or CATIA.
Gathers information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares original rough layouts, sketches to present design proposal.
Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning group such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications.
Works under general supervision, receiving instructions for routine tasks and detailed guidance for new assignments.
Performs activities following standard procedures. May operate standard equipment for product development, testing, or data processing.

Required Experience:

• Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with CAD design, specifically CREO

• Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with the creation and understand of engineering drawings

• Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with BOM (Bill of Materials)

• Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with GD&T
