Design Engineer
Location:
Orlando, FL
Job : #72224
Duration: 12 months contract
Pay Range: $56-65 - W2 hourly Active Secret clearance required to start.
Job Description:
* Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
* Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as, CAD, CAM or CATIA.
* Gathers information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares original rough layouts, sketches to present design proposal.
* Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning group such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications.
* Works under general supervision, receiving instructions for routine tasks and detailed guidance for new assignments.
* Performs activities following standard procedures. May operate standard equipment for product development, testing, or data processing.
Required Experience:
* Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with CAD design, specifically CREO
* Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with the creation and understand of engineering drawings
* Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with BOM (Bill of Materials)
* Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with GD&T Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.
