Description:

You will be the Mechanical Design Engineering and Technology Manager (ETM) for the Air Dominance team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and demonstrating advanced missile systems, working closely with program leadership and Chief Engineers to resolve hardware issues in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Be Doing As the Mechanical Design ETM, you will be responsible for leading a team of ~10 direct reports, serving as a design engineer and project lead, and managing technical data packages, 3D models, and fabrication of test and flight hardware.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading design engineering efforts and managing project timelines

• Developing and managing Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and 3D models using Creo/Windchill

• Collaborating with procurement, production operations, and customer counterparts

• Providing technical coaching, mentoring, and feedback to team members

• Managing employee development, performance assessments, and salary planning Why Join Us

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
-Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance
-Engineering experience, preferably including task planning, budget management, subcontract management, and/or employee development and mentoring.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including diplomatic issue resolution.

-Creo/Windchill experience and skills.

-Component/assembly design experience.

-Strong business acumen, management influence and whole systems thinking.
