PGS Worldwide is seeking a System Integration & Test Engineer (EO Sensors) in Orlando, FL for a 1-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This is an onsite integration and test position supporting electro-optical (EO) sensor development and production programs. The engineer will develop and execute subsystem/system-level test events, support environmental and acceptance testing, analyze results, and document findings to verify and validate system performance.
RequiredSkills
2–4 years of experience with EO sensor development/testing
2–4 years of experience with electronic testing
2–4 years of experience with mechanical testing
Experience developing and executing subsystem/system-level test plans and procedures
Ability to analyze test results and produce system-level evaluation reports
Experience writing discrepancy reports and executing integration regression testing to verify fixes
Ability to coordinate test activities across cross-functional teams (Reliability, Software, Electrical, Mechanical)
Demonstrated missile/sensor/platform integration experience
Experience supporting qualification, verification, and test readiness activities (including test readiness preparation and reviews)
Experience with environmental testing and acceptance testing activities
Support overall EO sensor system integration, qualification, verification, and validation
Develop and execute subsystem and system-level tests
Support preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events, including software development support as needed
Execute environmental testing (ESS, EMI, thermal, etc.) and acceptance testing (ATP, FTP)
Support environmental qualification and EMI testing at the subsystem and system level
Support maintenance of Interface Control Documents (ICDs) in coordination with other functional groups
Support test readiness preparation and test readiness reviews
Support ground and flight test events as required
Document outcomes, analyze results, and maintain traceability through reports and discrepancy documentation
Safety shoes are required for lab/field activities.
