About the Role

This role supports production of critical mechanical components within an Air Dominance program. As the Mechanical Review Board Engineer, you will analyze and resolve non-conforming hardware issues, drive root cause investigations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely corrective actions. You will also provide ongoing technical support to production and report status updates to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate as a core member of the Material Review Board (MRB).
• Review non-conforming hardware for functional and performance impacts.
• Identify root causes of defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Perform tolerance analysis using GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
• Support production engineering activities and troubleshoot build issues.
• Prepare and present investigation status to interdisciplinary leadership.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and parts documentation.
• Utilize Creo CAD tools to support design evaluation and issue resolution.
• Ensure solutions are viable and delivered in time-sensitive production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (ASME Y14.5).
• 2+ years of tolerance analysis experience.
• 2+ years of Creo design experience.
• 2+ years of root cause analysis and corrective action work.
• 2+ years of experience reading engineering drawings, parts lists, and specifications.
• Ability to lead investigations and report findings to cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Prior MRB or production support engineering experience.
• Familiarity with aerospace or defense mechanical systems.
• Experience working with manufacturing engineering teams.
