Plant & Equipment Engineer - Oceana- Virginia , VA

This position will support large highway construction projects in Virginia.

This is not a remote position.

• Assists mechanics, electricians, and technicians with troubleshooting equipment malfunctions to improve safety, minimize downtime, improve equipment operating efficiency, and maximize production.
• Ensures that the equipment is available when needed and functions as designed.
• Tracks and schedules preventative maintenance, inspections, and licensure of equipment.
• Evaluates predictive maintenance indicators including oil sample reports, thermal history, vibration analysis, and/or etc.
• Tracks and reports on equipment utilization and fuel consumption.
• Maintains the equipment inventory.
• Assists with documenting machine repairs and analyzing historical machine records.
• Manages electronic equipment history.
• Collaborates with procurement to ensure parts and services are available when needed.
• May supervise others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years of experience
