A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Regional Quality Lead Engineer, you will serve as the primary liaison between Quality Management and Service Operations, supporting Fossil gas turbine, steam turbine and generator outage activities across multiple regions. Your day includes collaborating with Regional Directors, supporting Regional Quality Engineers, reviewing outage readiness documentation, conducting targeted site visits, and leading quality investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
How You’ll Make an ImpactMentorship Provide daily offsite quality support to onsite Regional Quality Engineers (RQEs) and participate in regional safety and quality calls. Coach and support Regional Quality Engineers and drive lessons learned and continuous improvement
Quality Management System: Define and implement a quality plan for outages in accordance with contract, quality governance; support service operations in planning and securing results; cooperate with the regional directors
Quality planning :
Support the RQE with establishing and monitoring quality surveillance plans, define quality targets based on outage scopes based on requirementsQuality reporting: Report quality status, quality incidents and root-cause-analysis to the regional director. Develop lessons learned / continuous improvement projects to support various workshops. Escalate project-endangering situations to QM.
Quality in processes and projects :
Perform targeted onsite quality oversight during outages to verify adherence to procedures and quality plans. Support with logging quality incidents and support the regional director with root cause investigations to manage non-conformance and corrective actions.Continuous improvement: Plan, initiate and coordinate continuous improvement actions post outages. Ensure good practice sharing and feedback of experience e.g. through continuous improvement workshops (esp. lessons learned) and post outage surveys.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
Minimum 7 years’ Experience in quality management, outage execution, or field service operations
Strong analytical, facilitation and presentation skills with emphasis on proven use of RCA tools. Ability to drive collaboration to produce effective results.
Exercise authority to intervene at any stage in the project, in case of non-conformance in proceedings and project results.
Willingness to travel to outage sites as required
