Overview

Transportation-focused Senior-Level Project Engineer with experience in Design-Build / Alternative Delivery pursuits. You will support the development of Alternative Technical Concepts (ATCs), geometric design, and plans production for major Alternative Delivery (Design-Build) projects and pursuits. This role can be based in Orlando or Tampa, FL with flexibility to work in the office or on a hybrid schedule. The position is eligible for a sign-on bonus starting at $10,000.

• Perform engineering designs including geometric alignments, profiles, cross-sections, construction, and Temporary Traffic Control details.
• Create engineering documents including Typical Section Packages, Pavement Design Reports, and Variation/Exception Reports.
• Perform advanced Micro Station, GEOPAK, Open Roads processes using 3D modeling.
• Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications among multi-discipline engineering teams.

• B.S. from an ABET-accredited university in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of transportation roadway design experience
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Florida
• Proficiency in Micro Station and/or Open Roads
• Strong knowledge of FDOT plans preparation criteria, FDM and Standard Plans
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
• Detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history required

• Experience working on limited-access projects
• Experience working on alternative delivery / design-build projects
• Experience with 3D corridor modeling
