Water​/Wastewater Engineer

This role is built for an experienced water engineer who wants real ownership of projects, not just responsibility without authority.

You’ll be trusted to lead municipal water and wastewater work from process design through construction, guide technical decisions, and support clients who rely on sound engineering. The work is varied, technically engaging, and long-term in nature, offering the chance to stay hands-on while influencing outcomes at a senior level.

If you enjoy solving complex treatment challenges, mentoring engineers, and seeing projects beyond the drawing set, this is the kind of role that keeps the work interesting.

• Planning, scheduling, and delivering municipal water and wastewater projects across Florida
• Leading process design for treatment facilities from concept through construction
• Producing engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates
• Supporting projects through construction phase services, not just design handoff
• Coordinating and mentoring engineers, designers, and technical staff
• Working directly with clients and internal teams to move projects forward
• Participating in field activities, including pilot testing, when needed

This is not a back-office role — you’re expected to own your work and guide others.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 6–12 years of directly relevant water/wastewater experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Strong grounding in engineering judgment, problem-solving, and practical design
• Clear, confident communicator — internally and with clients
• Comfortable leading teams and managing deliverables
• Self-starter mentality — you don’t need micromanagement
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
