Description Join ENTRUST Solutions Group as a Design Engineer I in Electric Distribution—designing and improving power systems while contributing to the growth of utilities

Location:

• Orlando, FL

• Applies technical knowledge to designs and ensures projects meet specifications.
• Communicates challenges regarding scope, cost, schedule and quality.
• Works with Designers and Drafters to complete design packages.
• Gains an understanding of CAD programs and the software analysis tools utilized in engineering design.
• Supports the preparation of simple designs or small portions of larger projects, including calculations and drawings.
• Leads the development of their discipline's design on simple projects, and supports complex projects, including simple technical analyses.
• Interacts with clients on a limited basis.
• Understands and applies appropriate industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conducts communications in a professional and clear manner; communications are timely and in an appropriate format for the topic.
• Identifies information to be communicated to the client and project stakeholders through team leads and project managers.
• Self-checks work assignments prior to submitting for review, completes work with minimal errors. Participates in peer reviews and QC reviews.
• Performs all other related duties, including fielding work, as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering at ABET accredited university
• Minimum 0-1 of electrical distribution design experience.
• Ability to travel 25% for fielding expectations

• Knowledge of the software BOUD or Maximo
• Client Facing Experience
