- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair system problems
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures and technical upgrades on company instruments and software
- Provide remote technical support to resolve issues
- Write detailed reports on failure and repair data
Requirements
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Engineering related discipline
- 2+ years field service experience
- Electromechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft OS, LAN, computers, etc
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Travel estimated at 75%-80%
- While performing the duties the employee is:
- Requires fine manipulation and simple grasping in order to utilize equipment.
- Requires occasional lifting and transporting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Equipment typically used:
Computers, company devices, USB devices. Digital Volt Meters, laser power meters, hand tools optical alignment tools and specialized test equipment.
