About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and commissioning of large-scale mechanical systems for amusement rides and industrial automation projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, analyze, and implement mechanical systems for large-scale projects, including theme park ride systems
  • Perform stress, fatigue, load, and failure mode (FMEA) analysis
  • Conduct hazard/risk assessments and ensure compliance with ASTM safety standards
  • Develop detailed mechanical drawings and assemblies using AutoCAD and Solid Works
  • Troubleshoot and commission pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical control systems onsite
  • Lead projects as a technical lead or Project Manager for $50K–$250K projects, coordinating engineers, technicians, and contractors
  • Prepare system documentation, test plans, and maintenance/job plans
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
  • Experience: 7–10+ years in mechanical system design, including full system design and field installation; experience with theme park or industrial ride systems preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Solid Works; knowledge of mechanical system analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) is a plus
  • Strong understanding of mechanical components, stress/fatigue analysis, acceleration forces, and ASTM safety standards
  • Ability to travel up to 35% and work onsite at client locations
Why Join Us:
  • 100% employee-owned (ESOP) with 40+ years of industry experience
  • Recognized by ENR as a Top 500 Engineering Firm and a leading system integrator
  • Work on challenging, high-profile projects in the Orlando theme park and industrial sectors
