Northrop Grumman’s Combat Systems and Mission Readiness Division is seeking a Technical Services Engineer in Orlando, Florida. The selected team members will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects in a dynamic people-focused environment where they will interact with users, customers, and other developers on various Command and Control Systems.

Job Duties:

  • Performs site installs, configurations, integrations, and troubleshooting. Supports site personnel doing the same by providing advice and guidance.

  • Provides training to onsite personnel.

  • Elicits requirements from customer and communicates to Systems Engineering team.

  • Contributes to the review and development of system documentation.

  • Takes responsibility for individual work product.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 9 years’ experience or a Master’s with 7 years’ experience or a High School diploma/equivalent with 13 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.

  • 5 years’ experience maintaining GCCS-J systems.

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.

  • CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or higher certification required.

  • Experience maintaining multiple servers, storage arrays, and network switches.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Linux and Windows System Administration skills.

  • Familiarity with:

    • VMWare

    • Network solutions

    • Storage solutions

    • Automated container deployment

    • Running performance tests and debugging techniques

    • 10 years’ experience maintaining GCCS-J systems.

    • Knowledge of the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible, etc.).

    • Experience with Command and Control Systems for United States Southern Command.

    • Background in military intelligence and imagery, or strategic planning.

Salary Range: $107,800 - $161,800

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
