Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL

Experience Level: Mid–Senior Level (10+ Years)

Job type: Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to design, develop, and commission control systems for large-scale industrial automation projects. This role involves end-to-end electrical and controls engineering, from initial design through installation and startup.

• Design control systems from scratch (hardware, software, and networks)
• Create electrical panel designs and system calculations
• Program and implement PLC/DCS control systems
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Ensure designs meet client, safety, and regulatory standards
• Support system startup and on-site commissioning
• Act as technical lead and support junior engineers as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
• 5+ years of controls engineering experience (industrial automation)
• Strong PLC programming skills (Ladder Logic and Structured Text required)
• Experience with AutoCAD and major PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
• Knowledge of safety systems and industrial standards preferred
