RF Systems Analysis Engineer

What You Will Be Doing- Conducting RF requirements analyses and executing trade studies to optimize system performance
- Analyzing test data, including signal post-processing, visualization, and comparison with modeled data
- Performing statistical analysis to evaluate key performance parameters of a passive RF sensor, such as estimating parameters of an assumed probability distribution
- Using computing tools like MATLAB for simulation and analysis
- Evaluating sensor performance to ensure it meets passive sensor requirements

LocationThis position is in Orlando.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related STEM field
- Active DoD Secret Clearance is required, therefore you must be a US Citizen
- Experience in RF sensor data analysis, signal processing, or related aerospace/defense work
- Proficiency in MATLAB (tool development, scripting, code review, etc.)
- Understanding of antenna theory, RF sensors, RF front end architectures, signal and digital processing, and sensing modalities
- Strong programming abilities, particularly in Python and C++; familiarity with data handling libraries (Num Py, pandas, etc.)
- Familiarity with algorithm design, including RF signal and digital processing (CFAR/detection, False Alarm Rate (FAR), waveform/PRF selection, variable range resolution, etc.), scheduling/resource management, trackers, Kalman filters, optimization, etc.
- Experience with hardware in the loop (HWIL) test setups
- Exposure to flight, HWIL, and high fidelity simulation data environments
- Experience with Git Lab (branching, CI/CD, merge request workflow)
- Aptitude for learning on the job
- Top Secret Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
Work ScheduleSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
