Transportation Engineer IV

Transportation Engineer responsibilities include:

• Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands‑on involvement in the design process.
• The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi‑disciplined team.
• Project engineering and management.
• Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.
• Professional society involvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design. Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of FDOT design and standards is highly preferred.
• PE license in FL.
• Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage.
