Senior Mechanical Engineer – Large-Scale Systems (Onsite, W2 Only)

100% employee-owned engineering firm is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead hands‑on design of large, custom mechanical systems from concept through installation and commissioning.

This role offers
full system ownership
, real‑world design responsibility, and collaboration with fabrication and installation teams.

• Design mechanical systems from scratch through fabrication, installation, and commissioning
• Perform engineering analysis, including stress, fatigue, reliability, load, and tolerance calculations
• Design and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Develop 3D models using Solid Works (preferred) or similar CAD software
• Conduct FMEA, risk assessments, and safety‑critical design reviews
• Coordinate with vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Support field installation, commissioning, and off‑shift work as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or directly related with relevant experience)
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience
• 3+ years leading mechanical design from concept or major redesigns (50%+ redesign)
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or installation‑driven environments
• Hands‑on experience with large‑scale mechanical systems

• Experience with ASTM standards, GD&T, or safety engineering
• Background in ride systems, attractions, or guest‑facing mechanical systems

• Work Model: 100% onsite, Orlando, FL
