Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to join our team in Florida. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience using AutoCAD to design Civil and Mechanical piping for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and Pump Stations. You will work alongside staff Engineers and Senior CAD Designers to produce 2D drawings using Autodesk software.
Work Setting: Hybrid.

- Prepare site layouts, enlarged plans, sections, and details for various civil site and process mechanical systems.
- Be a proactive team player to ensure projects stay on time and budget.
- Communicate clearly with team members to execute markups and understand design details.
- Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards.
- Continuously learn, communicate effectively, and collaborate with other team members.
- Completion of a technical school CAD design certificate or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s in Engineering Design, Drafting, or related field.
- Experience with AutoCAD 2D.
- Basic understanding of Civil site piping and associated materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to coordinate with interdisciplinary groups.
- Effective communication skills with attention to technical details.
