The intern will gain hands‑on experience and foundational knowledge in Planning, Scheduling, Project Controls, and Project Management. The intern will collaborate closely with the Project Scheduling team to learn how they play an integral function within the overall project management team. This role provides valuable exposure to the tools, techniques, and best practices essential for ensuring the successful and timely delivery of projects, contributing directly to project outcomes and organizational goals.
MajorResponsibilities
- Supports the Planning & Scheduling team by collaborating with Ride, Show, and Facility teams to gather updates on projects & statuses; actively participating in meetings by taking detailed notes, updating project reports and schedules accordingly, and conducting site progress walks with the team to monitor and assess project advancement.
- Reviews & analyzes contractor and vendor schedules.
- Assists with progress tracking and reporting functions.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
- Preferred majors include:
Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture - Introductory use of scheduling tools and software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Navisworks, Autodesk, Microsoft Office/Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam preferred.
- This internship will be an in‑person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
